It was again emphasized for me that photos with children need to be fun.  They open up so much when it’s fun.  I think that we hit some fun times while taking these photos.  The Rouge Valley is such a gem.  It’s also fairly child friendly and the river is shallow.  I am constantly amazed at its beauty and variety and wonder why more people don’t go there.  It was such a pleasure to photograph friends in such a beautiful place and then have them over for dinner.
